Abstract: | The main objective of the study is to determine the impact of SCC on the operational performance of agro-processing organisations in Masvingo province. This is supported by four secondary objectives. A descriptive design was used to conduct the study. In order to determine the sample size for this study, the researcher used the Krejcie & Morgan (1970)’s statistical table. Thus, with a target population of 250 individuals, the required sample size was approximately 152 respondents. Questionnaires were self-administered to the 152 respondents. Descriptive statistical analysis were done on quantitative data. The study established that concluded that supply chain collaboration enhances supply chain operational performance. These results reveal that the four hypotheses tested were accepted. The sample for the study was based on a selected sample chosen from agro-processors in Masvingo only. Hence, the findings are limited to the Masvingo only and should not be generalized beyond this context. Nonetheless, the findings could have relevance to organisations in other parts of Zimbabwe. |
