The study examined the impact of environmental accounting on the quality and sufficiency of financial performance disclosure of Trojan Nickel Mine. Annual reports have been shown to be insufficient over time due to a lack of information that allows stakeholders to make educated decisions. The study sent questionnaires to Trojan Nickel Mine employees and used regression analysis to analyse data. The findings reveal that environmental accounting affects the quality and sufficiency of Trojan Nickel Mine's financial performance disclosure. The study discovered a substantial positive relationship between environmental accounting and the quality and adequacy of Trojan Nickel Mine's financial performance disclosure. Firms must recognize a liability in their balance sheet once it is possible that the economic advantage of an outflow of resources would outweigh the present obligation. The study advised that companies use their discretion in determining which expenditures or costs to designate as environmental expenses or costs. Furthermore, environmental expenditures should be capitalized or accounted for because they are a disputed cost category among accountants and financial analysts. Firms should assess the scope and depth of present environmental legislation and engagement; previous legal, economic, political, and scientific experiences; the complexity of the environmental challenge; and the availability and availability of technology experience.en_US
