Abstract: The purpose of this study was to explore challenges faced in the implementation of the Inclusive Education policy, with special reference to sport, at four secondary schools in Masvingo District, Zimbabwe. This qualitative study adopted a case study design. Semistructured interviews and observations were used to collect data from purposively sampled school heads, team trainers, sports directors, pupils living with disabilities and a District Schools Inspector (DSI). Data were analysed through emerging themes. The study revealed that schools faced a number of challenges in the implementation of the Inclusive Education policy in sport, among them being lack of trained manpower. The researchers believe that such challenges could be overcome if the Zimbabwean government followed up on the policy of inclusion. The study recommends that government injects some funds if the challenges are to be overcome. The Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education (MoPSE) is encouraged to enforce the said policy
