Abstract:	The study seeks to determine the compliance of the private preschools in Chitungwiza. A sample of twenty-four participants which comprises of 7 adminstrators and 17 ECD facilitators. Data were collected through observations, interviews and questionnaires. Findings revealed that most of the private ECD centres in Chitungwiza do not meet the registration requirements.
